Andrea and I got there very early that evening since we had decided to eat dinner there to celebrate her birthday. We entered through the front door and even before we grabbed hold of the door handle, we were both hit with an enormous amount of energy. It felt restless and chaotic.
We ate at table 11 where most of the activity has been reported. We didn't have anything move on the table by itself, but I did sense the presence of two spirits. One I believe to be a former owner of the business during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The other is a male entity that both Andrea and I have seen in the mirror behind table 11. He seemed to be leaning up against the wall at the other end of the dining room up by the bar.
After dinner, Andrea and I went around to where we believed the spirits to reside and gave them white roses as a peace offering to try to soothe them. They seemed distressed and wary since the group investigation in February.
After the rest of the group got there and set up, we broke up into teams. Due to recent surgery, I was relegated to command central; the laptop that the three I.R. cameras were plugged into. One camera was situated in the boiler room, one was in the wine cellar, and the other was at the bar pointed down the dining room toward the kitchen. While they were setting up the camera in the boiler room, there was a huge amount of orb activity, so much so that it looked like a snowstorm.
I observed significant orb activity on the other two cameras all evening. The camera in the dining room picked up orbs that were coming from the back of the dining room by the kitchen and flying up the sides, hardly ever the center, of the dining room at a high rate of speed. This would be much too fast for them to be dust or bugs. The camera in the wine cellar showed not as much activity but while Erin, Andrea and Kevin were in the wine cellar, I saw a large orb that was flashing light drop slowly from the ceiling, go around Andrea's head and descend below the range of the camera. It seemed that the lower it fell, the bigger it got and the brighter it flashed.
Bill and Hope were sitting beside me at one point watching the activity on the laptop when Hope suddenly exclaimed that her hand felt like electricity had just gone through it. She had been leaning her hand on the bench we were sitting on and she said that it felt like the current was coming up through the bench. Then she felt a cold spot on her other side. I reached over and felt it too before it moved away farther down the bench and disappeared. We also observed that when they moved about the dining room, the orbs did seem to follow them about.
By the end of the investigation, the spirits seemed to be placated a little. I don't think they were ready to give us complete absolution for what got stirred up during the group investigation in January, but they did seem a little calmer than when we arrived that evening.
