Welcome...
Welcome to the Hastings Paranormal Team Web site. We are a paranormal group located in historic Hastings Minnesota.
May and June have been busy months for HPT. The team had an investigation at a business in early May, Erin and Juli attended the W.I.S.P. conference in Bentonsport IA and the team had a road trip to Villisca IA in early June.
We were able to present the evidence from our May 10th investigation to our clients on June 27th. This location for this investigation was the Pachyderm Recording Studio in Cannon Falls MN. This site has had many famous groups who have recorded there to include Nirvana, Live and Mudvayne.
Judy originally found the location on the web and Erin arranged for meeting between HPT and Christy.
We were informed that not only was a house used for recording artists to stay at active, the entire grounds that the studio occupies has areas of activity.
Now that our clients have had the opportunity to review the reports and evidence we have permission to post the investigation.
We have also updated our Articles page with a story from a former business owner here in Hastings.
Please go to our Investigations page to read the report and review the evidence.

The Villisca Iowa Ax Murder House...
Villisca Iowa was the destination for HPT this past June. This small quiet southwestern Iowa town was the scene of a horrific crime committed on June 10th 1912. During the early morning hours Josiah and Sarah Moore, their children Herman 11, Katherine 9, Boyd 7 and Paul 5 along with two friends who spent the night, Lena Stillinger age 12 and Ina Stillinger age 8 were brutally murdered with an ax. It is thought the brutality of this act has left an indelible mark on the house itself, the only remaining survivor of that night.
In December 2007 Erin traveled down to Villisca at the invitation of I.P.R.A. to be a part of a television taping for WE cable channel. After her return home the team began planning a trip to investigate the house. At the time, little thought was placed on the day we reserved until much later when it was discovered that HPT had reserved it on the anniversary of the murders. As it turned out, team members got more then they expected from the night spent here. And to some, experiences that they will never forget.
As team members submit reports and go through the many hours of audio and video evidence, we will post the results.
