Welcome to the Hastings Paranormal Team Web site. We are a paranormal group located in historic Hastings Minnesota.
Summer is typically a slow time for HPT. You would think with the nice weather that we would be out and about more. Quite the contrary. The summer months are times when members families are off taking trips together, family get-together's and in some cases graduation parties. Tough to compete with that!
We have, however managed to get together long enough to take another trip to Villisca IA and investigate the Villisca Ax Murder House for a second time. Joining Judy, Erin and Tim on this trip was Steve, Founder of Moondance Paranormal Investigations and Judy's Niece Cassie. This was the first time to Villisca for both Steve and Cassie and both were eager to join HPT.
Unlike the first investigation, the investigators traveled down a day prior to the investigation to allow some time to travel at a more leisurely pace and see some of the other attractions and towns in the area. After a good nights rest, the investigators were primed and ready to see what the house had to offer them.
We have posted an investigation we conducted at a private residence in Hastings in March of this year on our "Investigations" page. The homeowners were tipped off that there may be something or someone other then themselves in the home shortly after moving in after a major remodeling. The female resident was concerned about being watched after retiring for the night. Also reported were some unusual temperature variances in rooms that the residents could not explain. After contacting HPT, the team went in to determine what could be causing these concerns.

Road Trips...
In a departure from organized Investigations, HPT has gone on couple of "Road Trips". The first was to an area known as Swede Hollow in St Paul MN. The second, a more organized event took place in September of 2009. The destination this time was Birch Coulee Battlefield, Alexander Ramsey Park, the Birch Coulee Monuments and finally Vicksburg Cemetery, long reported haunted by local residents.

We are continuing our professional relationships with Steve with MPI and Ken with Sanity Check Paranormal. Tim has also been in contact with Greg of Prima HQ based in southwestern MN. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationships with the highly motivated and professional teams and working with them in the future.
The Mississippi Belle, Hastings MN...
